About

PlainTxtOffice builds personal productivity software for individuals. Our apps are open source — TODO.txt under the GNU GPL-3.0 and Open PDF under the GNU AGPL-3.0, as listed on the Source Code page. Optional premium features are planned to fund development.

Goal

Our goal is a suite of productivity apps that use plain text as storage, so there’s no proprietary lock-in. Your data is always yours and works with any other software that reads plain text.

Current apps

Open PDF — a lightweight PDF viewer for Windows. This is the first app; more are in development.

TODO.txt — a desktop task manager for Windows that stores tasks in a plain-text todo.txt file.
